On the occasion of the 4000th machine delivered, the chief editor of the magazine "Farbe & Lack", Ms. Miriam von Bardeleben, visited the NIEMANN premises in Melle-Neuenkirchen and interviewed Mr. Frank Niemann regarding the order situation and the general situation on the dissolver market.

In the year of 1963, we dispatched the 1st KREIS-DISSOLVER®. Today, almost 50 years later, we are looking forward to another milestone in the success story „KREIS-DISSOLVER® / KREIS-BASKET-MILL®“ – the 4000th machine! At our exhibition stand at the EUROPEAN COATINGS SHOW 2011 in Nuremberg we had the pleasure to countersign with the Managing Partner of Dreisol Coatings GmbH & Co., Mr. Marcus Fischerbock, the official contract of sale and delivery of the 4000th machine (KREIS-DISSOLVER® / KREIS-BASKET-MILL®) on the occasion of the well-known NIEMANN Happy Hour on March 30, 2011 at 13:00 p.m..
Apart from 24 further NIEAMNN machines, the „ZERO-DREISOL-GROUP / Germany“ is even using the second KREIS-DISSOLVER^® ever built in the company history. This KREIS-DISSOLVER^® (SN 0002) was already delivered in 1964 and it is still used every day! We can even guarantee the supply of spare parts ex stock Melle for this machine – 47 years after shipment!

NIEMANN again presented their complete production programme at the exhibition ECS 2011 in Nuremberg, which is the most important for the paint and coatings industry. On a stand area of 126 sqm - the biggest stand ever in the company's history - 8 KREIS-DISSOLVER®s and 4 KREIS-BASKET-MILL®s have been exhibited. This year, too, the visitor frequency was very high. We could welcome and inform in detail many customers, but also new prospective customers from Germany and abroad. The "NIEMANN-Happy-Hour" on the second exhibition day from 13 - 14 h, which almost traditionally takes place, has been well attended again and offered the possibility for discussions between the customers and prospective customers with Bavarian food and freshly drawn beer! 

WILHELM NIEMANN MASCHINENFABRIK, Melle again succeeded in standing up to the European competitors and received another bulk order from India’s market leader Asian Paints. Asian Paints belongs to the 10 largest producers of decorative coatings in the world. They have 22 production facilities. Due to the rapidly growing Indian market, Asian Paints is currently building another production facility, the seventh in India, in Khandala in the federal state Maharashtra.
With a scheduled daily capacity of 2500 tons / day this will again be the largest paint factory of the world. Now 10 KREIS-DISSOLVER®s with 315 kW / 430 PS driving power should be delivered – the useful capacity is 15,000 litres (8 for the new factory in Khandala and 2 for the extension of the factory in Rohtak / New Delhi).
In 2008 already NIEMANN was awarded with the first bulk from this company. At that time, 6 of these machines were delivered to the plant in Rohtak / New Delhi. Asian Paints is so satisfied with the technical design, the performance and with the reliableness of the machines from Melle / Germany, that they again placed the order with NIEMANN.
Despite good references, intensive negotiations in Mumbai were this time, too, required, in order to win in 2011 the project about this prestigious and largest project in the paint field. The world market-leading position of the Melle enterprise specialised in the field of dissolver technology was thus again confirmed!

On January 11, 2011 NIEMANN had the pleasure to present themselves at the Jotun Regional Process Meetings in Jakarta.
NIEMANN explained to the JOTUN process engineers from 7 countries (Indonesia, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Norway) the NIEMANN specific features related to dispersion with the KREIS-DISSOLVER® and grinding with the KREIS-BASKET-MILL®. After the theoretical part, this knowledge was then put into practice with the help of a KREIS-DISSOLVER® and a KREIS-BASKET-MILL® - considering the special NIEMANN process technology.
